    Dear viewers,

I have been banking with Bank Al-falah for the last 12 years including current account and credit card but when it comes to basic services such as change of contact number, believe me its never going to happen whatever you do either by:
    – calling their customer care center
    – give a written request at card center or branch
    – use alpha application

To my surprise, I had to approach their CEO Mr. Nauman Ansari and even then the changes could not be done.

Secondly, I had an issue with my credit card whereby the statement was not delivered and the bank was insisting that it was received by my father who had passed away 3 months back. Finally the courier admitted that the statement was not delivered and all charges were reversed by the bank. To my surprise and with written email from the bank, calculations done by their complaint department were wrong and had to be corrected by me.

Finally, with my escalation of complaints to banking mohtasib and state bank, Bank alfalah has blocked my card reasoning that I live abroad and could not provide a valid income proof. Well how did the bank realize this after 7 years and how were my replacement cards activated during this period.

Anyone willing to understand the case in detail or has any doubts can email me privately and I shall provide complete correspondence accordingly.
